Abstract
Studies on internationalization in journals have been frequent in recent years, although there are different appreciations on the scope of the concept. In this paper, we synthesized some of these positions. Then, we analyzed three indicators of internationalization within papers related to psychology education: 1) international collaboration among authors of published papers; 2) leadership in international collaboration among authors; 3) the Linguistic Diversity Index. Methodologically, we conducted an ex post facto study, using document analysis. Firstly, all published papers related to psychology education were surveyed. For this purpose, if there were keywords, related keywords were searched for; otherwise, the abstract or the complete paper were analyzed. Secondly, the indexes of international collaboration and leadership in international collaboration were analyzed. To this end, all the authors of the papers selected were loaded into a database, indicating the institution and country to which they belonged. Thirdly, to analyze the Linguistic Diversity Index, we entered the references of the articles into a database, classifying them according to language. Subsequently, we analyzed the results and the corresponding indicators were extracted. Finally, we conducted a qualitatively analysis.
